In November 2007, Brother Rob and Sister Irene flew out of Charlotte, NC to pick up a medical/hospital bus in Oklahoma City for Flame of Truth Ministries. Flame of Truth had donated the bus to Doctor Reyna, a doctor head quartered out of McAllen, TX who makes consistent trips across the US border into Mexico offering free clinics and medical services to the people of Mexico.
Brother Rob and Sister Irene overhauled several mechanical problems on the bus on their way to McAllen, TX. Feeling confident that the bus was in good working order, they drove the bus over 1,000 miles into the heart of Mexico, to the flood devastated area of Tabasco, Mexico. Doctor Reyna and his family gave Bro. Rob and Sister Irene a hands-on tour of Villa Hermosa, one of the hardest hit area's of the flood ravaged region.
The families of Christian Temple church were honored to have a part in what The Flame of Truth Ministries and Doctor Reyna are doing in the name of the Lord for the people of Mexico. Christian Temple is making plans for another Christmas trip to Mexico to the flooded area's of Mexico.
