Keepers At Home

"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow in his steps." I peter 2:21

On Friday night we have a "Keepers At Home" club designed and structured to teach young ladies how to be a godly lady as instructed in Titus 2. Keepers At home teaches young girls to be godly, competent homemakers by teaching home economics with an emphasis on spiritual dedication to God. Girls ranging from ages 10-18 earn pins and badges for completing chapters in their Keeper handbook. To date some of the pins that have been earned and completed include: Basic Computer Knowledge, Foreign Language, Basic Sewing, Table Manners, Photography, Sunday School Helper, Being A Witness, Bible Memorization and many, many others.

Each quarter the young ladies host a Seasonal Tea party for the women of our church demonstrating their new skills and hospitality. We have recently added a "Little Keepers At Home" class for young girls ages 5-10 where they too will learn the beauty of girlhood, the joy of family and build meaningful and lasting friendships with girls the same age.
