When Jesus walked the earth, He said so many things that turned the religious world's understanding upside down. And as Christ walks the earth in His many-membered body, He is still saying things that the religious world cannot grasp. One of those things is the meaning of death, and how and where it was conquered.

Your human body was created and designed to be controlled by a spiritual life, and there are three spirits trying to use your body: God's Spirit, Satan's spirit, and your human spirit. You are powerless to discern which spirit motivates a certain bodily action until you are born again.

Have you ever said that you love chocolate or some other food? Do you love your parents? If you have a brother or sister, do you love them? If you are married, do you love your spouse? Do you love God? We use the same word for all of these, but love is so much more than liking something or being attracted to some one.

Do you know where your thoughts come from? Why do you think the thoughts you do? There are three minds trying to use your brain. Once you realize this, you can start discerning which mind is trying to speak to you.

The Bible speaks the first and second death. What does this mean? Search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have life.

Is your life a demonstration of God's Word? Do you have just a mental knowledge of God and His Word, or does it live and move your body according to His will?

Paul tells us to not let sin reign in your mortal body. You have the choice to either let it reign or not. What is reigning in your body?

The one thing that disappoints God more than anything is a lack of faith. In fact, Jesus once said, "I tell you that he (God) will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"

Did you know that there is one thing you can do to tie God's hands? It's unbelief. God can only move in your life according to your faith.

Your actions in this life are the manifestations of who your father is. Are you manifesting death and darkness, or life and light?

Saint John mentions that whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, and his (God's) seed remaineth in him (the Christian), and he (the Christian) cannot sin (I John 3:9). The doctrine of a sinless Christian is sure to generate a heated argument anywhere on this planet. But what else does the Bible teach about a Christian and sin? Listen to this sermon and find out.

The Bible speaks of rightly dividing the word of truth II Timothy 2:15). In many places in the Scripture, you can read about three 'things'. There is the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. There is water, blood, and spirit. There is natural, physical, and spiritual. Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, to day, and for ever. Could there be a connection or a revelation in this dividing into three parts? There most assuredly is!

One of the biggest divisions in Christianity is works. Let's make it clear right now: You cannot earn your way to heaven by your works. The works that Jesus performed in His lifetime are suffiecient for your salvation. James 2:18 says: "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." In other words, you may claim to have faith, but I cannot see your faith unless you do works. You can see my faith by my works. Let your works prove that you have faith; otherwise, you have dead faith.

One of the most difficult questions to answer is: "Why was I born?" If you believe in evolution and that all life is just a random occurance, then you have no purpose for being alive. You are born, you live for a few years, and then you die. But if you believe that there is a God and that He has a purpose for every thing in the universe, they your life does have meaning. This sermon explores some of those meanings.

It is said that you are what you eat. The truth is, your thoughts determine what you are. The Scriptures tell us in many places to keep our minds stayed upon Christ Jesus, to cast down every imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. My friend, this is a tall order. The only way to do this is to let the mind of Christ be in you. His mind will bring you life.

Paul said in Romans: "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit." This statement makes it clear that there two modes of life: the flesh and the spirit. Paul tells us that these two are at war with each other. In your birth as a human, you have the mind of a human. You are a son of man, and through your lifetime, you learn all about being a human. But in your second birth, you are a son of God, and as you live this life, you learn all about being a god man. The warfare is this: which life are you living right now?

If you've ever been given counterfeit money, you know how you felt. Deceived, powerless, and angry. However, it wasn't the real money's fault, and you did not stop using money. If you've ever gotten sick from tainted food, it didn't stop you from eating good food. Church and religion is like that. Someone may have had a bad experience in a church, but it doesn't change the fact that God is good and has given us His truth. Always keep your eye on Christ. Always walk in the Spirit. If you put your trust in the arm of flesh, you will be disappointed.

When you look at the life of Jesus and remember that He said, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do," you have to ask yourself how did He see what the Father was doing. He saw with His eyes of understanding. He was, at all times, led by the Spirit of God. His thoughts were always in subjection to His Father. That is the challenge that faces a Christian today. We are at war with thoughts that aren't God's thoughts. We struggle with our Adamic nature, striving to bring it into obedience. Paul said, "Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus."

Looking at a pottery worker plying his trade will teach you about God and His relationship with you. The clay pot has no control over what it will look like, how long the potter will work on it, or what will be its final purpose. All the clay pot can do is yield. God's works are forming you; your faith in His works makes you a vessel unto honor. People are watching you as you are being molded. Yield to God and let Him shape you according to His purpose.

Christians throughout the world have no real understanding about how God sees them. Today's Christianity has its full attention on the things of this world. They are worshipping the creation rather than the Creator. They don't have spiritual eyes to see heavenly things; they don't have spiritiual ears to hear God's heavenly voice. The hour is growing late, friend. It's time to repent and be born again.

Colossians 1:16: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him." Romans 1:20: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" These two Scriptures make it clear that everything that we can see, hear, smell, feel and taste has been created to teach us about the invisible or spirit world.

Life is full of events happening to us and around us. Do you ever wonder why some of these events seem to be bad and some seem to be good? If you are a Christian, the Bible tells us that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord, to those that are the called according to His purpose. We all enjoy the good things, but when the bad things happen, you should realize that it is God molding you into His image, just as a blacksmith might hammer on a horseshoe to make it fit the horse's hoof. He gives you the grace and strength to endure these trials. It's up to us to rejoice and give thanks.

The Apostle Peters tells us to "give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall." Why do we have to do this? Jeremiah tells us that "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked." By giving all diligence to make our calling and election sure, we slowly convince our heart that we sincerely believe our calling and election, and this builds confidence in our heart, which strengthens our faith. The faith of Jesus Christ needs no works on our part, but without works, our faith is dead faith.

The Apostle Paul was in Athens, Greece, and he came across an altar with the inscription "TO THE UNKNOWN GOD." Using that phrase, he preached a sermon to the people of Greece, declaring who is the unknown God. Do you know who God really is, or is He unknown to you? If you would examine your life, think about how you spend your time, your finances, and your thoughts. This will tell you a lot about your god.

When the phrase "a child of God" is spoken, do you really understand what is being said? What, exactly, is a child of God? We know that God is a spirit, so if your father is God, that makes you a spirit. Your body is nothing but a house for your spirit to live in, a puppet for your spirit to use in this world. What does your spirit doi with your body? If you are a child of God, your spirit is no longer a human spirit, but it is the Holy Ghost, God Himself living in you in a measure. A child of God will be doing the same things the Son of God did.

We as children of God do not, as a rule, realize that we have spiritual needs. Being a natural creature, we need food, shelter, clothing, etc. We do not know that we need exhorting, encouraging, chastisement, reproof, and rebuke. Everything that happens to a child of God happens for a reason. There are no random acts of kindness on God's part, and there are no random acts of chastisement, either. Look not at the things that are seen, but look for the unseen and eternal things. Ask God to help you grow in grace and truth and to lead you in all the paths of righteousness.

One of the hardest Biblical principles to practice is judgment. The Bible warns against unrighteous and hypocritical judgment, but it also commands us to judge righteous judgment. What kind of judgment is just and fair, and what kind is selfish and destructive?

The main motivation of humanity is selfishness. Whether in business, in a marriage, or life in general, a human being always looks first for his own gain. He is a consumer. When you become a Christian, you are commanded to seek the kingdom of God first. We are to seek another's wealth and not our own. Living a Spirit-filled life means you will have fruits of the Spirit on your tree. You become a gardener. Are you a consumer or a gardener?

Discerning the voice of God requires being sensitive to His Spirit. Going to church is not sufficient for a Christian. A Christian is serving God with every thought, every breath, with all of your heart and strength. If you have a wife, would you tolerate her being someone else's wife? You are God's bride. You cannot be married to another.

When you were filled with the Holy Ghost, you were filled with power. If you deny the power of the Holy Ghost, then you have only a form of godliness. You are called to be an ambassador for Christ, which means you belong to another country, not America or Canada or any other natural country. A Christian ambassador is an official representative sent from heaven to a natural world to represent the heavenly government. The Son of man was sent to seek the lost. Are you doing the same?

When someone looks for the fruit of Christianity in your life, can they find it? Everything that a man does is motivated by selfishness; everything that Christ does is motivated by love. What is motivating you?

We need to consider what being in the faith means. To find out, do like the Bereans who received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily to determine whether those things they heard were so.

What is your profession? We have no fear of death because we have passed from death unto life. We are, right now, eternally living forever. We are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, and we must work the works of Christ so the world will see Him and be drawn to Him.

When people see you living an overcoming life by the Spirit of God, it draws people to God. God will show you what needs conquering in your life, and He will empower you to be a conqueror. Look for opportunities to show the love of Christ. Love the unlovable. Help the helpless.

You must be born again to inherit the kingdom of God.  The Lord has given us everything that pertains unto life. This sermon teaches about being carnal minded, understanding body, soul, spirit and understanding the antichrist spirit.

We must learn to look at things from a different perspective- with a spiritual mind rather than our carnal minds. Jesus never lost control of his mind to allow guile out of his mouth. He is our example. Some people have a distorted perception of grace and mercy. This sermon will help you understand the grace and judgment of God.

This sermon exhorts the listeners to praise god no matter the afflictions or tribulations you may be experiencing in your life. We must demonstrate faith, virtue, godliness, temperance and patience in our own lives in order to lead others to Christ. The only way the world will see Jesus is manifested through a life of virtue and faith.

As you grow spiritually, God has more expectations of you. The flesh is relative to this world and the ways of the world, and Satan knows has to manipulate us. The days of Sodom and Gomorrah are upon us - exercise faith and overcome the weakness of the flesh.

Though we are in a dispensation of grace, God is still the God of old who demands holiness and righteousness. Be sold out and sincere before the Lord! Demonstrate a life of holiness!

Scripture teaches us in 2 Peter 1:5 "...and beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue." This sermon explains the necessity of applying this Scripture to our daily lives.

Learn to discern the thoughts of your mind and your heart. The mind of man is contrary to the mind of Christ.

This sermon expounds on the revelational teachings of being predestined in Christ. Learn about salvation, justification and glorification and sanctification.  

Words have the power to kill or produce life. Faith will be evident in your life. This message deals with smoking and being free of spirits and habits that influence you. We have the power from the holy one- through faith to overcome all things.

Make your calling and election sure. Walk in faith with the fruits of the spirit- walk in Love, power and humility. We must conform to the Spirit of Christ. This teaching is about being justified by faith.

Each person needs to examine themselves and see if you be in the faith. The Bible says our life is but a vapor in the mist. You sow seeds everyday, what are you sowing? This sermon reminds us to consider our ways, our testimony and to be about the Father's business.

The sermon encourages you to present your body, soul and spirit holy before the Lord. The seed of God reproduces after its own kind. Are you manifesting the Spirit of God in your life?

"Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus." Apply the scriptures to your life and walk in the light. Seek after truth and the understanding of the Word.

As Christians we must learn to endure trials, tribulation and to overcome the flesh. Don't waiver in your faith. Christ has given you the victory and the overcoming power to conquer the flesh!

We have three different minds using our thought life: man's mind, Satan's mind and the mind of Christ. We need to understand how to discern the voice of God from our own thoughts and ideas. This teaching will help you  learn to walk in the Spirit of Christ.

Take heed to what kind of thoughts you are giving place to. Jesus Christ is the high priest of your confession. Many wars are won just by keeping your mind on Christ. Preached 12-12-08
