Two Pillars

As a Christian life leads us down paths, sometimes we don’t want to go;
But never without a purpose, in which God reveals when it’s time to know.
Some go without complaint, and do as God has asked;
Others refuse the Lord’s bidding, leaving another undone task.
Our Heavenly Father dug deep, into the waters of the earth to find;
Two special people, with hearts full of humility, charity and their spirits kind.
He sent this couple to the Carolinas, where they’d build a church for Him
Leaving Sandie and Stephanie behind, they only had little Rob and Kim.
But they lifted their heads up high, and by faith they headed out;
They found a home and church to start, with God they had no doubts.
Soon the people came, and were being filled by what they heard;
He taught them and ministered to their hearts, while delivering God’s Word.
His wife stood strong right by his side, to help and lend a hand;
God look down at them very pleased, that they did as He had command.
Because of their endeavors, to save the lost souls for Him;
The Lord saw fit to return their love, and returned their children to them.
In serving the Lord, life isn’t always that simple;
That is why God gave you a place for strength, by coming to Christian Temple.
There you will find Brother Rob and Sister Irene, two pillars mighty and strong;
You’ll see in them someone to lean on, and to help you find your way home.
So just like Christ, who gives you hope, and faith in things unseen;
You will find that same strengthening love,
in two pillars like Brother Rob and Sister Irene.
