From the Pastor's Pen Is God Involved In Haiti's Earthquake?

 It seems that our religious communities are in a dispute on God’s involvement in this devastating earthquake. I read what Pat Robertson said, and heard many of the rebuttals. The thing is that both of them are right. The average person, or I could even say Christian, just wants to know God as this great loving and caring God who wants to bless you and meet all of your needs, if you are worthy or not. They want to know Him as a long suffering God, gentle and full of grace and mercy. If you truly have His Spirit then you most definitely know Him this way. But we also have to know Him in his wrath. If we would read our Bibles we can see what happens to a nation when they reject and forsake God and his commandments. When we think of his elect people that He brought out of Egypt, when they murmured and complained against God the ground opened up and swallowed thousands of his elect. He also says in the Scriptures speaking about what He did to his own Son on the cross of Calvary, and said how much more He would do to the ungodly and the sinner.
We have to know God in his judgment and His wrath and as well in his mercy and his grace. God said He is angry with the wicked and He will pursue them off the face of the earth. He also said evil can’t come to a city least I send it saith the Lord. He says He has His way in the good and the evil. We in America need to know that the same devastating power is on its way to America because we our forsaking the Word of God in our nations and we are opening up to every ungodly thing. We can not continue to call our nation a Christian nation when we keep changing our legislation and laws of our land to protect anti Christ agendas. The Bible teaches us about Jerusalem, we know the most holy city in all the world, but the Bible says that it has become spiritual Sodom. Why - because they rejected the Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ. Saints, the Bible says line upon line and precept upon precept. We need to look at the catastrophic events around the world, and we need to take heed to the word of God and understand God. The Bible says we need to repent and call upon the Lord and He will heal our land. America needs a great healing from God right now. Our organized religion is corrupt in America and around the world. The Bible says that they proselyte and surpass land and sea and make two fold more the Child of Hell, speaking about the religious efforts of today. The average American’s religious ideology is perverted and corrupted and they don’t know God nor do they have any idea of his Word. They sit in churches with hirelings that preach a compromised message. Saints, we need to get in our Bibles and read the Word and make sure that we are in the Faith. Don’t put your faith in man’s religion, or mom and dad’s religion - put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and make sure that your religious ideology is from the Bible and not some minister of Satan that has transformed himself into a angel of light. I’m sorry for the loss of life and the suffering in Haiti, no we don’t rejoice in any calamities, but we take heed to the Lord. We know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and we can expect good to come out of this kind of tragic calamity. And, yes, we need to take heed, fellow Americans, and know that God is having His way in it. Please be in prayer for the Haitian people that they can turn away from ungodliness and turn to righteousness. Thank you for your time and may God Bless you and the people of Haiti.
