Mexico Medical Missionary

In 2005 Doctor Reyna with his wife, three children and mother in law were living in a 25' RV trailer in the border town of Donna, TX. Doctor Reyna runs a Christian medical clinic in Reynosa, Mexico where he offers free and no-cost medical care and medication to the community. When the Christian Temple Church family heard of the sacrifices and dedication to the Gospel that Doctor Reyna and his family made as unto the Lord they were inspired to bless the Doctor's family.

Combining finances and effort the Christian Temple church family and Grace Temple Church family purchased a lot of land and a three bedroom modular home and gave it to Doctor Reyna's family. Pastor Rob Coones and Grace Temple Churches pastor, Michael Beachy led a group of contractors and their families to Donna, TX to renovate the purchased home.

The missions team tiled bathrooms, built decks, painted, installed underpinning and cleaned the new home as unto the Lord for the family who had sacrificed so much for the sake of the Gospel. All though the main thrust of the missions trip was to serve Doctor Reyna and his family, the church people also ministered to the people of Reynosa by sharing food, clothing, bikes and toys with the people.

In 2007 Brother Rob and Doctor Reyna reunited for the cause of Christ. Brother Rob and Sister Irene delivered a medical bus, donated by Flame of Truth Ministries, to Doctor Reyna who was doing flood relief work Villa Hermosa, Mexico. Pastor Coones and his wife drove the medical bus from Kansas City, MO into the heart of Mexico.
The church family is excited to return to Mexico to assist with much needed repairs on the Reynosa, Mexico medical center. Please check back here often for updates and lists of needed donations!

The brethren purchased and laid new tile in the bathrooms, showers and entry way of the families new home.
