Literature going to Africa

*Urgent Prayer Needed!*

UPDATE FROM AFRICA October 3, 2009
Africa's Customs offices are holding 420 audio sermons on CD hostage! Christian Temple Church sent the CD's free of charge to Pastors, Missionaries and Evangelists in Africa as ministerial helps. Initially, Africa's Customs Office was requesting $1500.00 to release the CD's. Customs has now reduced the price to $1 per CD. Please pray and believe with us that God will prepare the hearts of the Customs office to release these FREE materials to the ministers of Africa!

UPDATE FROM AFRICA August 15, 2009

Daily we receive letters and emails from Africa. The people of Africa are hungry for truth and the meat of the Word. Our brothers and sisters in Africa have taken evangelism seriously and are requesting Gospel literature by the hundreds of thousands monthly!    Below are excerpts of a recent letter from Pastor Evans in Nairobi, Kenya. We hope that his testimony letter inspires you as much as it has the ministry here at Christian Temple!

Dear Brother Rob,

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, I am our brother in Christ. I just want to inform you that I have come across your booklet which says, "How Do I Know I have Been Born Again?" and it was so good! Through your booklet many people came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
If possible, please send us many more scripture booklets as possible.

UPDATE FROM AFRICA July 2009:

Bro. Mikoka ministering the Word in Africa.

The church family in Nairobi, Kenya Africa

Dear Pastor Rob,
Praise the Lord! I thank God for this opportunity to be in touch with you today. I hope that you are all doing well in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been busy in the ministry work, and thank God for every thing.
Pastor, I did note a word from one of your letters about the LOVE OFFERING. God has been speaking to me about the children feeding. And when I got the fund that you sent, the Holy Ghost reminded me about children issue. I have donated an amount for feeding 55 orphans including refugees from central Africa in our church on 18th of May. Thereafter, I have been in the field for following up, and the Lord has helped... we won 25 souls to Christ through that feeding process! Praise the Lord! It was very wow! I Thank your church (Christian Temple Church) too for accepting and understanding your ministry. Thank to your family for prayer support.
Another Challenge: This last Saturday the Lord spoke to me said to enlarge the meeting worship place, in the afternoon I took the wall down and said 'God I do that, show or tell me now what will happen. We borrowed chairs and put on that space. The following day, (yesterday), I saw people coming without invitation, till I lacked place of sitting. Nevertheless, it was rainy since early morning. When we began prayers I reminded God about the issue, the the rain stopped. It was a miracle, Then we fellowship in a cool and sunny weather, Praise His name!

May God bless you,
Pastor Jean-Claude M.

Nairobi, Kenya Africa 2008

A Letter of Testimony From the Pastor of Christian Temple.
I would like to share with you about our trip to Nairobi, Kenya. My wife, Sister Irene, and my daughter, Stephanie, with her husband, Bro. Andy Beachy, went by invitation of Pastor Jean-Claude Mikoka in February of 2008.

Pastor Mikoka is from the Republic of Congo, and currently pastors a small church in Nairobi, Kenya. Pastor Mikoka has been receiving audio sermons through our mailing list for over a year; sharing the sermons throughout the country of Africa. Pastor Mikoka testifies of growing and learning from the CD's, and has witnessed quite an interest for the message of the Revelation of Jesus Christ within his countrymen's hearts and the people of Africa.

In January, Pastor Mikoka contacted Christian Temple via email requesting us to come to Nairobi to hold a Pastor's Seminar in honor of his church's one year anniversary. In spite of several travel advisories from the US Embassy, news reports about tribal conflicts and phone calls from friends and ministers begging us to postpone our trip, I had a peace from God, and felt that it was the Lord's will to continue with our travel plans to Nairobi, Kenya.

On February 12th my wife and family boarded the plane prepared for our 17 hour flight to Nairobi. I had complete peace in my spirit, knowing that God had prepared the way for us. I remember a conversation with my late Pastor, George L. Pike, he asked me one afternoon, "Brother Rob do you want to just go and preach, or do you want to go where the Lord has prepared the way?" He went on to say that sometimes the Lord prepares the way for a minister by allowing hurricanes, earthquakes and natural disasters- or in this case- the tribal conflicts and war- to prepare the hearts of the people of Africa to hear the Word of God. I can honestly say that because of the conflicts and killings in Nairobi that the people had a contrite and broken spirit, which God can use.

Once in Nairobi, Kenya we were greeted with open arms by the Pastors and Ministers. We had a total of 71 ministers register for the 3 day free seminar. We started off the seminar in the same way Apostle Paul had, telling the Brothers there that I would like to "speak to them as unto spirituals." I told them that they were going to be challenged in the Word of God, and that a wise man will hear the end of the matter. We found that the Pastors of Kenya were hungry for the Word of God. I'm sorry to say this, but the Pastors here in the USA, as a rule, are not interested in the mysteries of Godliness, nor do they long to understand the heights, depths, widths and length of God's Word. I wish so badly that I could have the kind of reception with Pastors and ministers around the world, as I had with the brethren in Kenya. They received the Word gladly.

Many of the ministers were challenged in doctrine. We dealt with many doctrinal issues. I find that false doctrine is a global problem. The Bible says in Matthew 23:25, "They surpass land and sea making two-fold more the child of hell." There are so many false ministers that are using the TV's and radios to get their false doctrines out to people. Brothers and sisters, I feel so small in God, but I have been blessed to have had my eyes opened to the wiles of the devil. There are so many false teachers bringing forth false doctrine- and their blind to the fact that their being used by Satan. The blind leading the blind. You can not get them to settle down to receive the Word of God. The apostle Paul had to be struck down to get the shucks off his eyes. You and I know that Paul was also very confident that he was right, but after God struck him down, he found that all of his learning was dung. This is a revelation that many ministers from around the world need to come to. The Bible tells us that they are puffed up in their fleshly minds, thinking they know something when they they know nothing at all. We were so encouraged to see the hunger and drawing for the Word and truth of God in the hearts of our African brethren.

The seminar began each morning at 9 AM and continued until 4 PM daily, with a break for lunch in the afternoon. We were blessed by the music and singing in both English and Swahili. During the course of the seminar we covered many spiritual topics in depth including but not limited to the following:

  • Teachings on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Heavens

  • Why A Woman Is Saved In Child Bearing

  • Proper Teachings on Baptisms (water, blood & spirit)

  • What is the Woman's Place in the Ministry

  • Doctrine of Sin- Can a Christian Sin?

  • Teachings on Death and Sleep

  • Teachings on the Gifts Of God (The Gifts and callings are without repentance. The rain falling on the just and unjust.)

  • Teaching on the Seed. (water seed, blood seed and spirit seed)

  • Manifestation of the Sons of God

On Friday afternoon we had the opportunity to visit an Ethiopian and Rwanda refugee camp on the outskirts of Nairobi. The "camp" was at the fairgrounds, and the government was using the livestock stalls to house families. We were in awe at the living conditions of the people. Our hearts broke for the people, the families, and the expectant mothers that had been uprooted from their homelands and who were now living in make-shift cattle stalls and chicken coops.

One memory that we will all carry with us is the sight of a young girl prepping dinner for her family. The girl was chopping up chicken feed (it looked like dried sardines) to feed her little brothers and sisters. Our guide explained that the chicken feed was very inexpensive and provided high nutrients to the children.

This is a picture of what the children were eating

How do you erase such an image from your mind? I was recently at a restaurant eating with friends and family looking at the food that was being left on our plates- and I picture the young girl picking through chicken feed to serve for dinner. I can't begin to express with pen and paper the impact of seeing those children eating dried chicken feed has had. As I recall the memory, tears flow down my face. God help us! Help us remember the children and families of Africa.

Testimony Letters
From Africa

I attended your seminar for the last three days of your meeting. I proudly say that God is great and I believe I am among the many who received his blessing. The teachings have been inspiring, and more so educational. It is my sincere prayer that our heavenly father grant you with more light for those who are in darkness.

Yours Faithful,

Evans Wangila

Thank God for you and your family! You have become a blessing to me! You are my parents from now on. I will be praying for you because you have created a new thing in me.

As the mountain surrounds Jerusalem may the presence of the Lord cover you and the glory of the Lord raise upon you. I will never forget you. We give God glory and welcome you back again. Yours in Christ,

Hannah Wanjiru Mbuguah

I thank God for you, for what he has put in your heart for the church. Your ministry has opened up my spirit with knowledge impact that I will not remain the same. You have been sent by God for my purpose.

I have desired to be a Timothy. God Bless you,

Rev. David Kimani Mbugua

Dear servant of the Most High God. The Lord has called you and ordained you to give others hope, comfort, encouragement and the truth of the Word of God. I am always in prayer for you as an individual and as the corporate Body of Christ.

Yours In God's Service,

Rev. Josphat Karanja

Pastor, you had a great impact to the pastors you ministered to here in Kenya, as you delved deeply in the word of God. Your exposition of God's word through the Revelation of the Holy Spirit was so inspiring and uplifting. You challenged us to go deeper in the word of God. Some of our beliefs that we have had for so many years were brought to light through the word. May the Lord bless you so much for allowing yourself to be used of God to bring glory and honor to him. The teaching and revelations on dimensions was very new to us, but yet very important for us to know - so that we can learn how to discern and operate. Your stand for truth with boldness and humility was touching to me in particular. Many lives were touched by your generosity to the displaced people in the camps. God really sent you to Kenya with a message of hope to us. We really enjoyed the fellowship. You prayed with Sister Laurianne and she said something happened to her, and the healing virtue of God flowed to her as we prayed.

In Him,

Pastor Bernard Bwala
